About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated community nursing team in the Ballina and the Coffs Harbour region.
You will play a crucial role in providing specialist care to individuals with acquired injuries.
What you'll be doing Provide evidence based, high quality care to achieve agreed goals and outcomes that are responsive to the nursing needs of clients.Evaluate the progress of the client based care needs and report outcomes.Provide comprehensive safe, quality practice.Practice in accordance with relevant policies, guidelines, standards, regulations, and legislation.Establish, sustain, and conclude relationships in a way that differentiates the boundaries between professional and personal relationships.Advocate on behalf of people in a manner that respects the person's autonomy and legal capacity and optimises health-related decisions.Actively foster a culture of safety and learning that includes engaging with health professionals and others, to share knowledge and practice that supports person-centred care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and support clients, families and healthcare teams.What we are looking for You must hold (or be willing to obtain); Current AHPRA Registration.A minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse.Current National Police Check.Current Yellow Card/National Disability Worker Screening Clearance.Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module.Right to work status.Current First Aid/CPR Certificate.Working with Children Check - (Blue Card).A valid driver's license.Shift Details:- Flexible scheduling with weekday (AM/PM) availability using our user friendly mobile app.- Estimated up to 15 hours per week.
