The primary aim of the Senior Project Engineer role is to ensure that the activities across all subcontractors are planned, organised and delivered through adoption of appropriate construction methodology and resource allocation to ensure project execution within budget and program. Project intervention and claims assistance may be required to ensure satisfactory project completion on projects $100m +.Responsibilities of the role include:Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports.Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects.Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.Undertake quantitative and qualitative safety, environment and quality risk assessment to ensure acceptable quality of structures and finishes.To be successful in this key role, you must have:Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction or equivalent.Minimum 5+ years' project engineering experience for tier 1 builders on building projects.Experience working on $100m + projects.Knowledge of project management structure, plans, specifications, standards and implications for project accountabilities.What's in it for you when you join John Holland?We're about connecting your sense of purpose to ours.
