Exploration Geologists & Senior Exploration Geologists Anytime Exploration Services is a small and trusted provider of support services to the Mineral Exploration and Mining Industry in Western Australia. We are seeking an Exploration Geologist for our client with a minimum of 2 years experience and Senior Exploration Geologist with a minimum of 6 years experience in the Exploration sector and base metals to assist with several exciting new projects in QLD Australia. You must be WA or QLD based to be considered for our projects. With a focus on exploration activities including mapping, drilling, rehabilitation, remote camp setup and management, environmental monitoring and reporting. The successful candidate will be a Geologist with a passion for travel and working in the great outdoors. As a valued member of the company's small exploration team, you will be responsible for providing quality geology services and working collaboratively with our Clients to maximise exploration outcomes for AES and our Client projects. Selection Criterion Tertiary qualification in Geology, e.g. Bachelor or master's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences or a related science field; Previous experience in remote mineral exploration will be viewed favourably; Knowledge of Software (ArcGIS / QGIS/micromine/LogChief/Leapfrog) desirable; Statutory reporting, budget preparation and service provider engagement experience. An understanding of geochemistry, geophysics, mining and processing. Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills; Effective project management, planning and time management skills; Strong desire and drive for continuous improvement; The ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver KPI's; Strong focus upon Health, Safety and Wellbeing culture essential; Competent 4WD and C class manual drivers licence essential; Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative. Duties of the role: Accountable for the daily drilling activities; Field exploration activities as required (mapping, soil/rock/trench sampling, core logging, RC logging, geological modelling, remote camping, etc); Conduct QAQC analysis of laboratory results and, with a proactive approach to assess and action best result outcomes; Assisting with drill rig supervision where required; Supporting our team and client with the aim to expand to a longer-term position incorporating other Australian projects; Other duties as directed.
