Job Description A bit about the role... The Project Delivery Manager will play a pivotal role in steering our organisation's project management efforts. This position is responsible for managing a Project Management Office (PMO) team and concurrently overseeing project delivery. The Project Delivery Manager will also be instrumental in enhancing our organisation's project management governance, maturity, and capability. A significant aspect of this role involves managing cultural change within the business to ensure the team's success. The Project Delivery Manager will develop and implement a Group wide project and change management roadmap identifying the tools, technologies, roles, and processes required to build capability and drive digital adoption across the Group. This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Southport office. What does a typical day look like? Lead and manage a PMO team, providing direction, support, and mentorship. Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Develop and implement project management governance frameworks and standards. Identify opportunities for improving project management capabilities across the organisation. Engage and collaborate with business units to support the adoption of project management practices. Key Competencies include: leadership and team management, project management expertise, strategic thinking, communication and stakeholder engagement, change management and problem solving. Desired Skills and Experience A bit about you... 2+ years' experience in a similar role within an employment services setting. Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects. Experience in managing and developing teams within a PMO or similar environment. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Demonstrated ability to build and implement project management governance frameworks and standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively. Experience in driving cultural change and promoting project management practices within an organisation.
