The locum doctor will be required to work in liaison with the onsite Oncology team to provide outpatient clinics and will also be required to work closely with general practitioners, visiting and resident specialists, metropolitan specialists and the Cancer Planning team and the Rural Support Service on matters pertaining to oncology services
The locum Oncologist is required to provide both outpatient clinical care and a limited inpatient consultation service.
Preference may also be given to Medical Officers who have worked in SA Health and have experience using the Sunrise Electronic Medical Record system

An Southern SA hospital requires a Specialist in Internal Medicine from 03/03/2025 to 28/03/2025.
• Commencing 08:00 Monday, 3 March 2025 and concluding at 17:00 Friday, 28 March 2025 (inclusive).
The Locum Oncologist will provide 24 hour on call care from 08:00 each Monday through to 08:00 each Saturday. Weekend consultation of oncology patients will be provided by the duty oncologist. Re the on-call roster, phone call advice or call-in has an average of 2 weeks a month, hence, not overwhelming.
