Job Description Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, and as an integral member of the Maintenance senior leadership team, the primary purpose of this role is to develop and review electrical standards, engineering practices and procedures for the life cycle of electrical plant and installations.
ABOUT THE ROLESupervising the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical plant is a critical part of this roleManaging various projects and contractors to deliver on our budgeted commitmentsMentoring and leading a team of engineers.Seeking opportunities for improvements in equipment and machinery safety performance by monitoring industry-wide trendsAssisting in developing budget and meeting budgetDeveloping, implementing and maintaining the statutory Electrical Engineering Control Plan as required by the WHS (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Act and the WHS (Mines and Petroleum Sites) RegulationsLiaise with Maintenance Supervision and Planners to prepare Maintenance Management Plans for equipment and machinery on site.Participate in formal reviews of catastrophic equipment failure; identify causes & implement remedial actionsReview condition monitoring reports and recommend actions as maybe appropriateKeep abreast of current legislative requirementsUndertake assigned audits & completion of site safety actionsROSTER AND LOCATIONMonday to Friday professional rosterBased on site at HVO (off Lemington Road)ABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role, you must have:
