This ASX-listed company, which started as an EPC, now operates under a “Build, Own, Operate” model encompassing Engineering, Infrastructure, and Energy retail.With Australia’s evolving environmental policies and a significant push towards renewable energy, there are ample opportunities for career growth and a variety of work scope to include different projects and locations.Harry Maxwell has been appointed to source Project Management teams across Australia and presently, we are assigned to appoint a project management team for a project just outside Melbourne.To help deliver this project, we are looking for a seasoned Construction Manager who has experience in fields such as Water Infrastructure, SMP, Electrical, Civil Packages, Agriculture or Tank Farm Construction.This role will act as the technical lead based onsite, overseeing the management of sub-contractors and responsible for the onsite delivery from project inception to completion and operation’s.This initial project has an 18-month schedule with 5 other projects planned across the country throughout 2025 and 2026.The role and responsibilities:Accountability for end-to-end construction managementLeading and overseeing site operations to include sub-contractor coordination and quality controlDevelop and maintain project schedules and forecastsMonitor compliance to industry regulations and environmental standardsPlanning work assignments that meet deadlines while considering changes in budget or scope during the execution of the contract.Communicate effectively and regularly with the project stakeholders, including the Project Management and Project Engineering team on progress, budget, technical matters, safety, quality, and resource planning.Key Requirements7 years’ experience in construction management.Experience managing CAPEX circa $50mStrong team management and leadership skills.Knowledge of local construction standards & regulationsAbility to manage multiple sub-contractors.Strong reporting, budgeting, and planning skills.Demonstrated success managing construction to statutory and regulatory requirements.
