About the role:
As a Delivery Specialist / Data Scientist in Financial Crime Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and delivery of monitoring and detection strategies within our AML/CTF Systems and Financial Crimepliance Program.
What you'll do:
4. Deliver and implement strategic and tactical responses to AML/CTF typologies, leveraging your expertise in data analytics and modelling.
5. Enhance AML/CTF System Detection and Customer Risk Management capabilities.
6. Provide support to AML Operations, Financial Crimepliance and other internal initiatives and projects related to AML/CTF detection strategies.
7. Work alongside the manager to maintain a development and project roadmap for AML/CTF systems, ensuring alignment with current and future typologies.
8. Identify gaps and system performance issues whilst implementing supportive controls to remediate.
9. Deliver monthly operational and senior management reporting on AML/CTF & Fraud metrics, providing valuable insights to inform decision-making.
10. Undertake other duties as delegated contributing to the overall success of the team and organisation.
What you'll bring:
11. Formal qualification in Technology, Information Systems or Data Analytics.
12. Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Analytics / Technical Analyst / Data Scientist role showcasing your ability to excel both independently and as part of a team.
13. Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, R or equivalent data analytics and modelling programming languages.
14. Advanced proficiency in Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent data visualisation or reporting tool.
15. Previous experience in financial crime analytics highly desirable.
