About the Role The Head of People Partnering plays a pivotal leadership role, leading a team of seven and reporting directly to the Chief People Officer (CPO). This role is integral to the successful implementation of CPA Australia’s new People Strategy, partnering closely with the CPO and Executive team. It encompasses managing the Strategic People Partnering and Talent Acquisition teams, which support 700 employees across Australia and international locations. In this role, you will develop and enable the People Partnering team to focus on delivering strategic, value driven initiatives while fostering seamless collaboration with the People Services and People Experience teams. You will lead strategic priorities and projects, design and implement a fit for purpose Talent Acquisition strategy, and develop CPA Australia’s first strategic workforce planning framework, ensuring a forward-looking approach to meeting the organisation’s talent needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver the people partnering strategy, fostering collaboration with the broader People & Culture function. Design and implement a strategic workforce planning framework, leveraging data and insights. Provide expert advice on complex people matters and change initiatives. Oversee employee relations strategies to ensure fairness and compliance. Develop a Talent Acquisition strategy that builds on the employer brand, enhances the development and use of diverse talent pipelines and contributes to the broader talent ecosystem. Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, including the Board and Executives, and drive innovative people solutions. About You You are a seasoned senior People & Culture leader well versed in leading People Partnering teams in addition to delivering on strategic people projects. You will bring the following; Proven previous HR team leadership with tenure in strategic partnering, influencing to both Executive and Board level. Expertise in strategic workforce planning, organisational design, employee relations, and change management. A commercial mindset with a focus on achieving business outcomes. Proven ability to develop geographically dispersed high-performing teams and navigate complex environments. Able to contribute to and lead the implementation of an enterprise-wide people strategy. Global work experience well regarded but not essential. Postgraduate qualifications (preferred) and experience leading strategic initiatives or projects that have had positive and measurable outcomes.
