We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk. This is a junior position where you will be trained to be an expert in this field. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be working 100% onsite based in Stapylton, Gold Coast.
Your will be trained to perform the below duties:
* Process credit card payments and refunds via EFTPOS terminal
* Reconciliation of incoming funds and ensure correct allocation of customer payments
* Process daily collections and credit claims in POS system
* Debtor account reconciliation
* Follow up with debtors on payments (via phone and email)
* Preparation/processing of monthly debtor statements
* Ensure debtors’ profile are up to date
* Respond to and investigate customer enquiries in a timely manner
* Support the Finance Team
Ideally you will have:
* Accounting background
* Passions in dealing with numbers and people
* Thorough attention to detail
* The ability to stay on top of things, meet deadlines and respond quickly to changing priorities
* Excellent and tactful communication skills
* Punctuality and work commitment
* Strong desire to learn and adapt to our current and new systems
* Intermediate computer and fast typing skills
* High integrity to handle sensitive and confidential information
