Knox Private Hospital is seeking an Orderly to join our team on a casual basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and achieving high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, in this fast paced and varied environment. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to this role on a long term basis following extensive training for the role.

This Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 334 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 14 bed ICU, 17 bed CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.

As an Orderly your responsibilities will include:
· Patient Assistance and transfers including the use of lifting machine and bed movers.
· General housekeeping duties e.g. cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking of equipment, and waste management
· Emergency Response Team Member
· Working to assist Clinical Staff with Patient needs
· Remove dirty linen / ensure clean linen is readily available
· Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures
· Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
· Cultivating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients
· Work as an active team member to support all work tasks
Essential Criteria:
· Authority to Work in Australia
· Experience as an orderly or in a hospital environment (desirable)
· Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement
· Working with Children check
· Commitment to service excellence
· Ability to prioritise and organise work, with minimal supervision
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· High level attention to detail
