We support global distribution networks, by providing integrated finance solutions between Manufacturers, Distributors, Dealer networks and end users.THE ROLEIn this role, you will be responsible for processing credit risk applications, legal documentation process and portfolio risk annual reviews, regular reporting and communication to Credit and related stakeholders.
Importantly, the candidate will engage, support and understand our customers, to ensure Soda Capital understands their financial position/performance, experience and ability of the dealer to meet financial obligations.RESPONSIBILITIESAssist Credit Managers in reviewing credit submissions and structuring Distribution finance solutions.Conduct detailed financial analysis, including balance sheet reviews, profit & loss statements, and cash flow assessments.Evaluate borrower risk ratings and creditworthiness to support facility approval recommendations.Prepare internal credit reports, risk assessments, and investor material.Assist in structuring and drafting offer letters, term sheets, and credit proposals.Support the facility documentation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policy guidelines.Liaise with external legal consultants and security document custodians as required.Review and monitor floorplan dealer credit limits, ensuring adherence to risk frameworks.Identify early warning signals of potential risk deterioration and implement control and mitigation strategies.Assist in the settlement process by reviewing payment recommendations and ensuring compliance to asset management policy.Collaborate with risk and external audit partners to track portfolio performance.Work closely with Business Development Managers (BDMs) to ensure a deep understanding of dealers' financial positions.Provide clear and effective communication to internal and external stakeholders regarding loan structures and credit outcomes.Manage PPSR registration process for new facilities.COMPETENCY / JOB SKILL ATTRIBUTES / REQUIREMENTSDesire to develop experience in working capital specific finance roles.Previous work experience in a Credit specific position required (previous floor plan experience highly desirable).Degree in Commerce, Business, Accounting or a related discipline.Ability to assist Credit with review and structure dealer facilities.Develop legal understanding of facility activation process.Develop the ability to work autonomously within a team setting.Time management & organisational Skills.Personable and ability to work in a team is essential.Problem Solving/Logical.High attention to detail.Use of initiative to solve problems.Integrity and Trustworthiness.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionFinance and Sales
