Help close the gap and provide continuity of service to a large Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. The port of Sale provides access to the entire lakes region, a short drive from Sale is the iconic Ninety Mile Beach.
Required Dates: Jan 2024 - ongoing full or part-time cover
Practice Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch. 20-minute appointments.
Fees: From $1400 per day or 70% billings, self-contained accommodation provided in Sale close to shops and cafes, and travel fees reimbursed.
Role: Providing sessional-only care to mainly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, their families, the elderly, and the wider community population across east Gippsland. Some of the main health issues you will experience in this varied role include; complex health conditions, chronic disease, diabetes, mental health, and some AOD.
Working alongside 1 Full-time and 1 part-time GP. You will be supported by Senior nurse, practice nurse, a Chronic Disease care coordinator, an Integrated Team Care Outreach worker, a practice manager, receptions staff, and visiting Allied Health specialists.
The clinic uses Medical Director.
