Blair Fox Pty Ltd is seeking a Wind Farm Electrical Technician to join our team in Warradarge, Western Australia.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of systems across all our wind farms throughout the Wheatbelt region, from Lancelin to Warradarge.
Your expertise in electrical systems and wind farm operations will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and reliable performance of our renewable energy generation assets.
What You'll Be Doing Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on wind turbine electrical systems, including generators, transformers, switchgear, and control systems.Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues to minimize downtime and optimize wind farm output.Conducting regular inspections and testing of electrical equipment to identify and address potential problems.Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.Collaborating with the wider operations team to coordinate maintenance activities and maximize wind farm productivity.Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and system performance data.What We're Looking For Electrician's licence is required for this role.In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues.Proficiency in the use of electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the broader operations team.Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all relevant safety regulations.What We Offer 4-day work week with a family-friendly roster.Company vehicle provided for travel to sites.Residential position – come home every night, live in the region, or be willing to relocate to Green Head.Relocation support provided.Competitive remuneration and opportunities for professional development and career progression.Flexible work arrangements to help you achieve a healthy work-life balance.About Us Blair Fox Pty Ltd is a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, specializing in the construction and operation of wind farms in Western Australia.
