* Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday with a fortnightly RDO (overtime available)
* Location: Parkes, NSW
* Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
* Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on small engines and motorised equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
* Repairs: Diagnose and repair issues with small motors, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators and other equipment used by the council.
* Parts Replacement: Replace worn or damaged parts to extend the life of the equipment.
* Parts Procurement: Interact with council staff to understand their equipment needs and provide timely service.
* Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Key Requirements:
* Strong interest in the automotive industry and willingness to learn.
* Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work safely and follow instructions.
* Excellent communication and teamwork ability.
* White Card.
