About the Role : As the Nursing Manager – Perioperative, you will be responsible for the overall management of the perioperative department, including operating theatres, recovery, and associated services.
You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, drive clinical excellence, and ensure smooth operational workflows within the unit.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and manage the perioperative nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and best practice guidelines Oversee staff development, mentoring, and workforce planning Collaborate with senior management to drive continuous improvement and patient-centred care Manage budgets, resources, and departmental efficiency to achieve optimal patient outcomes About You :
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Extensive perioperative nursing experience, with proven leadership in a managerial or senior supervisory role Strong understanding of clinical governance, accreditation standards, and best practice within perioperative services Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to drive team performance and foster a positive work environment What's on Offer?
