Responsibilities
:
1. Assign tasks to Senior Service and Service Technicians.
2. Support the Senior Service and Service Technicians during daily/weekly tasks.
3. Coordinate Senior Service and Service Technicians to attend sites to complete tasks as necessary.
4. Commission CSI Energy Storage’s Solbank Storage Power Block.
5. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to adhere to warranty requirements.
6. Fulfill obligations for BESS equipment under LTSA’s, which may include:Energy Storage Cabinets (ESC’s)Power Conversion Stations (PCS)Ring Main Units (RMU’s) / SwitchgearTransformersSCADA and networking devices
7. Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support to maintain equipment and achieve availability and capacity guarantees.
8. Oversee and supervise subcontractors on site where required.
9. Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes.
10. Complete work order documentation in a timely manner.
11. Ensure inventory of spare parts is accurate.
12. Perform proper LOTO and switching procedures as required.
13. Support client training during commissioning.
14. Adhere to all health and safety rules and policies.
15. Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
16. Minimum 2 years in a Team Leader/Supervisor role.
17. Qualified Electrical Technician.
18. Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy.
19. Construction Skills Certification Scheme will be beneficial.
20. Previous training and knowledge of inverters.
21. Knowledge of BESS equipment preferred.
22. SCADA experience will be beneficial.
23. Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems, and Energy Storage system applications is an asset.
24. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
25. Demonstrated proficiency using MS Office Applications (Word, Excel).
26. Previous experience with a CMMS software program preferred.
27. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
28. First Aid Trained will be beneficial.
29. Must be able to travel to regional locations as needed.
30. Ability to function successfully both independently and within a team.
31. Demonstrated professional appearance and conduct.
