As a Lifestyle Coordinator, you will develop and manage a variety of programs and events that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
You will foster a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued, respected, and cared for.What your compassionate care looks likeIndividualized Programs - Develop lifestyle programs based on individual needs, preferences, and goals to enhance physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, and social well-being.Active Participation - Lead and participate in the delivery of activities, ensuring they are engaging and meaningful.Comprehensive Assessments - Prepare thorough and accurate lifestyle assessments of residents.Detailed Documentation - Ensure complete and timely documentation of resident participation and engagement.Team Management - Manage and coach the lifestyle team to deliver top-notch lifestyle activities.Training and Orientation - Support the orientation and training of new team members and volunteers.Positive Relationships - Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and volunteers.Community Engagement - Facilitate opportunities for residents to engage with the broader community.How you'll make an impactAssist in carrying out lifestyle assessments of residents.Promote happiness, wellbeing, and quality of life for residents.Assist in delivery of various workshops, social, and other activities.Actively participate in the delivery of activity programs.Document any changes to resident's activities or as required by Occupational Health & Safety.Communicate with residents and their families.The traits that will help you succeed in the roleCertificate IV in Leisure and Health (desirable).Proactive and energetic self-starter with strong customer service focus.Demonstrated understanding and knowledge regarding the ACFI framework (desirable).Experience using a computerized Care Management System (desirable).An eagerness to grow and develop a career in Aged Care.To work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, supply a NDIS worker screening clearance, COVID and flu vaccinations, and certification proof.Benefits to support and reward youEnjoy a flexible working environment giving you better life balance and wellbeing.Lots of opportunities to realise your potential in an organisation that invests in your personal development.
