The Director of Finance and Company Secretary is a key leadership position at the Perth Anglican School. This role oversees finance, ICT, risk, compliance, property, and commercial functions.
This senior executive will be responsible for leading the school's financial strategies, policies, and procedures. They will oversee financial and accounting operations, including forecasting models for cash flow, financial performance, and capital budgets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with a proven track record of modern leadership and elite influencing skills. They will be able to provide business advice and operate strategically within a complex organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing and improving the school's financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
* Oversight of financial and accounting functions, including forecasting models.
* Preparation of all financial reports as required by the school council.
* Maintaining current knowledge of sources of funding, relevant legislation, and industry-wide trends.
Requirements include a relevant professional qualification in Finance (CPA or CA preferred), business acumen skills, and experience as a Company Secretary.
