Responsibilities
:
1. Deliver top-tier service to mining and mobile plant customers.
2. Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance on various engines and equipment.
3. Conduct engine reconditioning services, including stripping, troubleshooting, and rebuilding.
4. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all services, including service worksheets, time sheets, and warranty claims.
5. Identify and act on additional service opportunities while building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
6. Ensure the cleanliness and proper operation of your service vehicle and tools.
What We're Looking For:
7. Australian recognised Trade Certificate III (Heavy Vehicle/Mobile Plant or Light Vehicle).
8. Extensive experience in field service work, particularly with engine reconditioning, repairs, and rebuilds.
9. Expertise in high-horsepower diesel engines.
10. Strong customer service skills and experience in mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior technicians (preferred).
11. A vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution is preferred.
12. A valid local driving permit; licensing for export controls or sanctions regulations may be necessary.
