Your new role
As a Senior ETL Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising data pipelines to support the Establishment Register modernisation project. This role will focus on data transformation, integration, and ensuring scalable and efficient data workflows across the organisation. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into data models and processes, and work closely with the team, data architects, and system developers to facilitate data migration and modernisation efforts.
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience in building, optimising, and managing ETL processes for large-scale data transformations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Azure.
* Strong skills in SQL and .NET (C#) for ETL development.
* Experience working with APIs, JSON, Parquet, and other data exchange formats.
* Experience with Azure DevOps, version control, and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
* Demonstrated experience in .NET and Azure application development.
Desirable criteria
* .NET and C# for API and back-end development.
* JavaScript/TypeScript and React framework for front-end development.
