Applicants must be Australian residents and have unrestricted working rights to be considered for this role.About the role:Identification, review and responding to new business opportunities.Compilation of tender supporting documentation and quotation/tender pricing submissions to ensure high-quality submissions that meet client and Group specifications.Arrange request for quotations, letting of tenders.Prepare tender submissions - prepare tender submission documentation, completing qualitative criteria: compiling project experience, formatting CVs, quality, health and safety and other materials for inclusion in the tender package etc. and obtain final approval from Management.Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers during the tender process.Ensure all project information is captured in the company database.General reception duties i.e., answering the company phone, responding to emails, maintaining records, mail, filing, archiving.Additional administration responsibilities.Collaboration with Group sales and operational teams to identify and gather information for tender submissions.Build positive relationships with clients and key internal and industry stakeholders.Interpreting working drawings and converting to data.Attending project sites and meeting with external stakeholders where required.Research and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project/tender requirements.Ensure tender is managed in a timely manner to allow adequate time for senior management review.Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences.Gather information and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.Requirements for this role:A minimum of 5 years civil construction tender submission preparation experience is required.Ability to interpret tender documents and the key requirements and processes for submissions.Experienced interpreting process/procedure manuals and/or contractual documents.Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering and/or Estimating are required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills & attention to detail.Knowledge of tendering websites.A detail-oriented individual with strong organisational and time management skills.Deadline driven with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple tasks.High degree of self-organisation.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive and proactive attitude.Good people skills, excellent telephone manner, positive outlook.Must be fit for work.Must be able to pass a National Criminal History Check.Must be eligible for a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC).Must pass a medical and drug test.Please note:This is an office-based role, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.Relevant screening checks will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
