About the role
Casual opportunity to provide efficient and effective delivery of food services to support the daily operation of the Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) Retail Services venues, under the supervision of the Retail Operations Coordinator.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
1. Barista duties including the taking and processing of coffee orders in a high-volume environment whilst upholding quality and consistency, machine maintenance and ensuring cleanliness of work area.
2. Preparation and serving of food items for sale.
3. Provide exceptionally high level of customer focused service at all service points and at all times throughout all internal Retail outlets
4. Use of Point of Sale System to take orders, appropriately capture sales, accept payment (cash and EFTPOS) and provide change and refunds (as required).
5. Ability to work in a busy environment, either as an individual or as part of a team, with an ability to prioritise tasks and manage time autonomously.
