Architecture & Interior Design Project Manager Sydney Permanent / Full Time International Architecture studio delivering largescale landmark projects Get involved in International projects Immediate start This International studio have been established in Sydney for years, and have a wide range of largescale infrastructure, rail, mixed use, commercial projects.Due to the scale of projects they are involved with they seek a Project Coordinator/Project Manager who can drive the project and architectural team in Sydney and across the International studios.The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the project management team, ensuring that architectural projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
This role requires strong organizational, communication, and technical skills to manage the day-to-day administrative and logistical aspects of projects.Key Responsibilities: Project Administration: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, reports, budgets, and timelines.
Coordinate project meetings and prepare agendas, minutes, and action items.
Manage and distribute project updates to stakeholders and team members.
Maintain and organize digital project files and records, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.
Collaboration and Coordination: Support the project team in coordinating with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Assist in managing communication between internal teams and external partners.
Help facilitate the smooth transition of information between project phases.
Scheduling and Budget Tracking: Work with project managers to develop and track project schedules and deadlines.
Assist in monitoring project budgets, highlighting discrepancies and potential issues to the project manager.
Track expenses and prepare budget reports as needed.
Compliance and Quality Control: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, building codes, and company procedures.
Monitor project quality assurance processes, helping to maintain design standards.
Support project teams during design reviews and project approvals.
Problem-Solving and Support: Proactively identify potential project risks and suggest solutions.
Assist in resolving issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
Provide general support to project teams as needed.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or related field.
Relevant certifications or training in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is a plus.
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in project coordination or similar role within an architectural or construction firm.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project) Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge: Understanding of architectural processes, building codes, and project development phases.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with various stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and time management skills.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive working relationships.
