About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer of ASC Pty Limited, the Executive Manager Program Management will provide leadership to a team of professionals contributing executive-level program and project leadership, strategy, and business acumen to cross-functional project teams. The role operates in a complex enterprise environment involving the Department of Finance, Royal Australian Navy, the Naval Shipbuilding Sustainment Group, key ASC stakeholders and other industry partners and associated organisations.
The Executive Manager Program Management plays a crucial role in leading project management and performance across the organisation. This includes championing the Project Management capability and associated excellence in all its key tenets, with a strong focus on Governance. The role requires management of frameworks for best practice; policy, process and reporting across the business. The successful application of which will enable multi-disciplined business units to deliver against their varied objectives whilst maintaining alignment to the project management principles and governance framework. The growth and development of the Project Management capability will be a key component of the role which will contribute to the overall planning and asset management of the broader business. Their leadership will align and support the company's overall objectives, driving towards outcomes whilst balancing the need for local autonomy and agility.
With teams and stakeholders in multiple locations, regular travel is required.

11. Directed program management and leadership for multiple projects, including project alignment to business objectives, prioritization, and change management.
12. Analysed financial statements, commercial reports, and other performance data to measure productivity/goal achievement to determine programmatic efficiencies and improvement.
13. Lead the application of continuous improvement methods and lean techniques to identify cost savings, and process and compliance improvements.
14. Identified and assessed key regulatory risks; developed risk management programs, policies and guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance.
