The Hotel Windsor is an iconic Australian hotel embodying the architecture and elegance of a European style 'Grand Hotel', situated on Spring Street and located at the 'Paris' end of Melbourne. Our beautiful hotel is looking for a full time Baker to join our team.
About the Role
This is an ideal position for professionals who are willing to bring commitment, hard work and passion to our exciting brand.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and the ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment is essential.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
* Minimum 2 years full time equivalent experience in sourdough baking
* Passion for food
* The ability to work in a fast paced, busy and dynamic team environment
* Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
* Knowledge and ability to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment
* Trade qualification
* Flexibility is required as the roster includes weekends and public holidays
* A team player, capable of communicating and giving and receiving feedback
