About this Position: The Leisure Facilities Manager is a key member of Council's Liveable & Active Communities Program area.
The position plays a pivotal role in directly supporting the Manager Liveable and Active Communities through the provision of leadership, professional service and direction in all operational and customer service related activities within the centres incorporating Goonellabah Sports and Aquatic Centre (GSAC), Youth Plaza including Skate Park and Lismore Memorial Baths (LMB).

What we trust you to deliver: Review the daily operation of GSAC and LMB in conjunction with the Operations Manager - including staffing, operating revenue and expenditure budgets Lead the team to achieve excellence through service delivery benchmarks and is committed to the implementation of continued improvement processes Support the Manager Liveable & Active Communities to oversee the whole of business approach to GSAC and LMB to maximise resources and productivity Monitor and report on effectiveness of programs, services, facilities and visitation Responsible for risk management and WHS compliance across both facilities Ensure service contracts are fulfilled to specification including maintaining records of scheduled maintenance and service Support the Manager Liveable & Active Communities with operational improvements and initiatives, oversight of manuals and procedural requirements, induction and training processes.

Conditions of Employment: Conditions of employment are in the Lismore City Council Goonellabah Sports and Aquatic Centre and Lismore Memorial Baths Enterprise Agreement 2015 (Agreement), and relevant Council policy, procedures and agreements.
