About the Role
The Health, Safety & Training Advisor is responsible for promoting positive health and safety culture and working with other Departments to maintain the required level of compliance across all work areas on site.
1. Site-based role working a 9-day fortnight at our Tarrawonga Mine
2. Relocation package and/or temporary accommodation supplied
What You’ll Do
3. Assist the Health Safety and Training Superintendent develop and implement internal health and safety strategies, plans and policies necessary to optimise business performance & compliance
4. Proactively identify and report on potential areas of health, safety and compliance risks
5. Monitor the site’s emergency preparedness and response equipment and capabilities
6. Participating in site WHS Committee meetings, work area pre-start meetings and toolbox meetings
7. Providing advice, support and coaching to site personnel as required
What You’ll Bring
8. Relevant qualifications in Training & Assessment and WHS
9. Knowledge of NSW WH&S Legislation and statutory requirements
10. High level of administration experience as well as written and oral communication skills
11. Experience with WHC360, Onsite and SharePoint desirable
12. Experience in the mining Industry is advantageous
