The main focus of this position is to perform all aspects of the onsite coordination of plasterboard installation processes ensuring safe, quality installation via a sub-contractor trade base as per the contracted procedures, specifications and timelines to our customers.Based in Pinkenba, QLD you will be required to coordinate the safe and profitable supply and installation of Knauf Plasterboard products and accessories to residential homes while ensuring compliance with the Knauf Interior Linings HSE system, Quality Management System, Knauf Plasterboard installation requirements and Australian Standards.Your part in developing a stronger and faster innovative solution includes:Ensure site safety for all stakeholders in accordance with Knauf safety management system (including employees, sub-contractors, clients etc.)Ensure sub-contractors works are carried out in accordance with the Knauf Quality Management System, Knauf Plasterboard installation recommendations and relevant Australian Standards with daily site visits to check compliance and standardsSource, induct and train new sub-contractors in accordance with safety management and quality systemsManage existing sub-contractors to ensure ongoing compliance to sub-contractor agreementsScheduling of Maintenance trades as well as in-house inspectionApprove acceptable completion of sub-contract works prior to payment of contractorsDaily site visits with builders and sub-contractorsDevelop customer relationships and enhance the position of Knauf Linings in the marketManage project for Pre delivery inspections of plasterboard through to completion of linings including all maintenanceManage all admin aspects for the project within our SAP systemYour innovation will inspire us by including and having:Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential building industry (preferably Plasterer by Trade )Current and valid driver licenceTrade qualified plastering experience, not essential but will be very highly regardedBuilding related trade qualification or extensive experience / industry knowledge (preferably in dry plastering)Construction Induction (White-card) ~ Knauf will Provide training to be certified if requiredComputer literacyExceptional planning and organizational skillsExcellent communication skillsHonesty and integrityWhy join Knauf?Tool of Trade (Company vehicle included)Competitive Salary package (base + super)High organic internal growth promoted withinGreat work life balanceIncome protection policyYearly pay review14-week Parental Leave (Primary Carer)The nature of our work requires flexibility to work Monday to Friday.
