The Opportunity
Our client, a worldwide leading manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced and highly detailed Accounts Payable Officer to join their dynamic team in Camberwell on a contractual basis commencing in January 2025.
Ideally, our candidate will have experience in the retail industry as an Accounts Payable Officer or a similar position.
The Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for handling the end-to-end of Accounts Payable. Your key duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Invoice processing
2. Bank reconciliation
3. Assist with reconciliation of corporate credit cards
4. Reconcile supplier statements and attend to all vendor queries
5. Vendor maintenance and respond to all vendor inquiries
6. Assist in month end closing, including month end journals
The successful candidate will have
1. 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
2. Experience within an end-to-end payable position
3. Experience in the retail industry
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Superb attention to detail
6. Team player and enjoys collaborating with colleagues
