About the Opportunity:
We are looking for Pastry Chefs de Partie to join our team. Assist the Head Pastry Chef with the day-to-day operations of the dessert section. You will be responsible for ensuring that your section of the kitchen operates to optimum efficiency. You will be an enthusiastic and a highly energetic hospitality professional.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
* Demonstrated experience as a Pastry Chef in an a-la-carte restaurant
* Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods
* Strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude
* Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
* Excellent attention to detail
* Calm and composed demeanour
* Able and willing to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
