We are currently seeking Experienced Production Operators with Trainer Assessor qualifications to join our team at our Peak Downs mine located 6km south-east of Moranbah in the Bowen Basin.
Working a 7/7 roster rotating days/nights, your duties will include both operating and training/assessing.
You would initially be employed to operate machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output and once signed off as a Trainer you will also be utilised to provide:
1. Upskilling to workers on site
2. Proficiency Training (Only applicable for experienced excavator operators)
3. Challenge testing operators against competency standards
4. Facilitation of inductions for new workers which includes Work Area Famils
5. Conduct full training for New to Industry Workers
6. Conduct RPL’s and RCC assessments for New Starters
7. Conduct refresher training
REQUIREMENTS
8. Certificate in TAE Trainer Assessor Skill Set
9. Current Open Drivers Licence
10. Prior experience operating Haul Trucks, Dozer, Grader or Excavator in a mining environment with a verified machinery skills list (training transcript) signed by the SSE , Superintendent or Manager.
11. A Minimum of 3 year’s operational experience in open cut mining
12. Current Standard 11 - Statement of Attainment
13. Experience in a similar role is highly recommended.
