We are committed to ensuring our entire team is supported, empowered, and valued, and we actively nurture a culture of continual learning and innovation.About the role:The role will provide support and administration for new Framework Plans and Structure Plans currently being prepared by the Victorian Planning Authority in collaboration with Councils and State Government Agencies.Key Accountabilities:Administer and support the preparation of Framework Plans and Structure Plans. This will include:ResearchReview of submissionsMappingLand use planning in relation to activity centres, transport, biodiversity, and heritageMeeting attendance with external stakeholders (government agencies, developers, councils), preparing meeting agendas, meeting minutes, note-taking, and follow-upAttend community consultations/exhibition sessionsParticipate in site visitsAssisting with preparation of letters, reports, and documentsRecords management and document storage using TRIM (records management system)Stakeholder engagement and communicationsAdditional tasks as requestedEntering into the final year of your Bachelor's Degree or the final year of your Master's Degree in the 2025 Academic Year.Studying a Planning related degree, including but not limited to Urban Planning, Urban Design, Geography, Environmental Science, Property, and Construction.Availability to work 2-3 days per week during both term time and University holidays.Please note the Victorian Planning Authority welcomes applications from both domestic students and international students able to work in Australia subject to the employment terms of your visa.How to apply:Click the 'apply' button and provide a Resume and Cover Letter (demonstrating that you meet the key selection criteria found in the Position Description).Please note: If successful, the VPA will ask you to provide proof of enrolment at your institution and an academic statement of results, including from your Bachelor's degree if you are a current Master's student.
