About the Role:
As a compassionate and dedicated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM), you will work closely with the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality care across the ward.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinating daily operations and ensuring continuity of care
* Implementing practice changes and managing staffing, rostering, and leave
* Mentoring and developing staff, including students and less experienced nurses
* Managing performance processes and supporting team members in their professional growth
What we're looking for:
* Current registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
* At least 3 years post-registration experience, or classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
* Proven ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
* Experience in staff supervision and knowledge of healthcare legislation and quality improvement systems
