Job Summary: A Field Cleaner is responsible for ensuring that a designated work site or area remains clean, safe, and organised. The role may encompass a range of cleaning and maintenance tasks to support the efficient and safe operation of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Cleaning: Driving to different and varying sites. Clean and sanitise designated areas as required. Remove debris, trash, and hazardous materials from the site. Sweep, mop, and clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment.
2. Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste and recycling materials in compliance with local regulations. Empty and maintain trash receptacles and recycling bins.
3. Outdoor Cleaning (if applicable): Maintain outdoor areas, including walkways and outdoor equipment.
4. Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe environment. Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor.
5. Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies. Report any malfunction or damage for repairs or replacements.
6. Inventory Management: Keep track of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed. Maintain an organised inventory of cleaning materials.
7. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain records of cleaning activities, inspections, and maintenance tasks. Document any incidents or issues on-site and report them to management.
8. Environmental Awareness: Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials and chemicals. Promote eco-friendly cleaning practices and waste reduction.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance is preferred.
* Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
* Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
* Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects if required.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
* Full Australian Drivers Licence.
* Valid and recent police check.
