The Opportunity The Commercial Growth Manager will drive revenue growth through sponsorships, partnerships, and commercial sales, playing a key role in the next wave of NBL growth. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, securing high-value partnerships, and implementing innovative commercial strategies to enhance the league’s brand, financial sustainability, and fan experience. As a crucial part of the NBL’s expansion, you’ll foster strong stakeholder relationships and shape the league’s commercial future. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive sponsorships, partnerships, and revenue generation. Identify and engage potential sponsors, partners, and advertisers to secure new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners, media, agencies, and NBL teams. Lead the development of compelling partnership proposals and pitch documents tailored to brand objectives and industry trends. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for commercial sales and business development initiatives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across marketing, brand, and operations to deliver effective sponsorship activations. Represent the NBL at key events and industry functions to enhance visibility and expand commercial networks. About You Degree qualified in Business, Marketing, Sports Management or similar. 5 years' experience in sponsorship, commercial sales, or business development – ideally in sport, media, or entertainment. Proven ability to close deals and manage commercial relationships. Strategic thinker with a creative eye for commercial opportunity. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
