Salary: £12p/h, 7h/week, 4 weeks/month (£336 p/m)
Location: Hybrid working, 1 shift minimum monthly onsite in Wester Hailes Edinburgh
Working Pattern: Preferably working hours on Wednesdays but to be agreed between CWC and successful candidate.

Start date/duration: Monday 28th April 2025, this role includes a 3 month probationary period with aim for long term arrangement.
About the CWC: The CWC is a diverse collective of over 30 people, initiated by social practice artists Jeanne van Heeswijk and Bobby Sayers commissioned by Edinburgh Art Festival in partnership with WHALE Arts. The CWC aims to remove barriers to better wellbeing and create together a more just world. We collectively run The Community Wellbeing Space, a social artwork with free wellbeing activities by local members.
Role Overview: As our new Administrator, you would contribute to the running of the CWC programme through:
Ensuring that our members, partners, and vendors are paid timely and correctly for their contributions.Ensuring that we get paid timely and correctly for our contribution to other projects.Maintaining positive, friendly relationships with partners who host their community activities in our space.Keeping the records of our work and helping present them to funders. Specific Duties Include: Issuing invoices to partners who host activities in the space.Storing invoices issued to us and flagging them up for payment.Entering income and expenditure into our Accounts document.Updating the 'Yearly Budget' with actual spend after payments are made.Preparing invoices on behalf of activity facilitators and hosts.Preparing cash payments - activity facilitation and meeting stipends.Checking the Accounts document against our bank statements and following up on unpaid invoices.Receiving and confirming room bookings, and recording them in the space usage diary.Occasionally contributing to reports for funders or funding applications. Qualifications:
Proficiency in Gmail, Google Documents, and Google Spreadsheets / Microsoft Excel essential.
