Our growing law practice is seeking the services of a full-time legal/administration assistant to provide support to our busy Principal. The position is based in our McLaren Vale office but our Firm provide services throughout the Southern Suburbs, Adelaide and Adelaide Hills, with our specialities being Wills, Estates, Family Law (Property) and Conveyancing. You will be responsible for opening files, data entry, client contact, administration, and some legal secretarial duties, supporting the office and the legal team to continue to deliver exceptional services to all clients. The role will suit someone who is willing to upskill and is looking for professional development. We want to support you to grow and be the best that you can be. Ideally, as you become established in the role and company you will be able to assist our clients at a higher level. Your duties will include answering the telephone, responding to basic questions, opening files, sending paperwork to clients, inbox management, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, post and courier implementation, general administration and legal secretarial support. The successful applicant will be a good verbal and written communicator and an efficient typist, with exceptional attention to detail. Experience in using Smokeball software and PEXA would be desired, but not essential. Ideally, you will have experience working for a legal practice, and an understanding of Wills, Estates and legal terminology. Integrity and confidentiality are non-negotiables. As we are a small practice, with two legal practitioners, we are seeking someone who is a self-starter who can operate with limited supervision and direction.
