Strategic Sourcing & Insight Specialist Role Overview:
This role leads and supports various strategic initiatives across the executive talent ecosystem.
* Executive Talent Acquisition: Supporting our team with research-driven candidate identification, proactive sourcing and talent pipelining, screening, and reporting.
* Executive Development and Succession: Driving initiatives aligned with our strategic priorities to ensure robust executive development and succession planning.
* Market Intelligence: Representing Telstra's employment brand at the executive level, maintaining external networks, and gathering valuable market insights.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce and maintain high-quality data on essential talent metrics and prepare reports for senior stakeholders.
* Develop and deliver tools, initiatives, and programs to manage executive talent pools.
* Facilitate executive succession planning, development, performance, and readiness.
* Identify talent gaps and address them with strategic external market mapping.
Requirements:
* Experience in research, sourcing, and senior-level recruitment.
* Background in talent management and/or organisational development within a large, complex organisation.
* Fluency in data and analytics with a strong attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially with senior stakeholders.
* Technologically adept and intellectually curious, with an ability to leverage analytics, AI and tech-focused solutions.
* General understanding of the domestic corporate landscape and international technology market.
* Proficiency with Office 365 suite; experience with Copilot and Power BI (or other data analytics tools) is a plus.
