When you come to work at ING, you're joining a modern and progressive team where individuality isn't just accepted, it's encouraged.It's one of the many reasons we're proud to be an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality.Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a new Head of KYC, Financial Crime Operations.Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, you'll be accountable for all activities related to overseeing and embedding the implementation of Know Your Customer and Anti Money Laundering responsibilities across ING Australia.You'll maintain risk appetite settings and operational SLAs, P&L, digitisation and automation targets along with Customer outcomes including calls, complaints and NPS.What you'll do Ensure compliance of INGs procedures to group policy and local regulations across all aspects of KYC and AML.This covers the entire lifecycle from on-boarding to customer activity monitoring to off-boarding (where required).Deliver KYC compliance with a customer centric, simple and efficient approach.Steer local operations with respect to KYC and AML including CDD, TM, Screening, and Enhanced Due Diligence.Some activities are performed within the function, and some activities embedded in other processes or locations across ING.Create and maintain a KYC aware culture within the team and across the first line.Report to required stakeholders internally and externally, including directly with regulators.Oversee the development and implementation of KYC policies and procedures.Manage and develop both onshore and offshore teams.What we're looking for Proven record of managing and developing large operational and/or tech teams in the financial crime domain.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in KYC or a related compliance role.In-depth knowledge of KYC regulations and best practices.Experience with KYC technology solutions and tools.Experience dealing with AUSTRAC, with APRA or ASIC a plus.What's in it for you?
