The CFO, a seasoned and people-focused leader, is passionate about building a strong, collaborative culture within the finance team. To support this exciting growth phase, the company is seeking a part-time Senior Accountant to play a critical role in enhancing financial operations and driving strategic outcomes.
The Role
This newly created position is designed to provide high-level support across key financial functions, complementing an existing team of finance professionals. It is not a condensed full-time role but a focused opportunity to deliver impactful and strategic contributions.
As a Senior Accountant, you will:
Lead the end-to-end month-end process, ensuring accuracy and ownership of the numbers. Oversee statutory reporting obligations, including BAS, IAS, FBT, and payroll compliance. Act as the primary liaison for audits and tax matters. Perform ad-hoc project analysis and evaluate investment proposals. Manage bank covenant reporting and cash flow. Draft monthly financial board reports. Support the development of advanced reporting tools, including a Power BI suite. Contribute to the preparation of budgets and a 5-year financial model. Drive continuous improvement in processes and financial operations. What We're Looking For Qualifications: CA or CPA certified. Experience: A well-rounded accounting professional, comfortable managing both operational and strategic financial tasks. Skills: Strong analytical ability, a solutions-oriented mindset, and an aptitude for problem-solving.
