You will play a vital role in achieving excellence in research within the Biosecurity discipline which includes developing a research program which is both nationally and internationally relevant.
You will also:
10. Be enthusiastic about developing a team that will grow, largely supported by external funding, but with co-investment from industry.
11. Be expected to generate high quality research outputs, transfer knowledge to industry and generate new marketable products and approaches.
12. Have an entrepreneurial and innovative approach to securing funding and foster collaborative research partnerships.
To be successful you will have:
13. A doctoral qualification, relevant to the discipline.
14. Significant experience in, and comprehensive knowledge of Biosecurity.
15. Recognition as a leading authority at a national and international level evidenced by appropriately trending publications.
16. Track record sourcing significant external funding, including large-multiyear grants.
17. Demonstrated ability to provide effective leadership and building people capability.
18. Demonstrated success in identifying, building and maintaining strong partnerships, networks and relationships.
