Our client, a specialist in temporary works for transport infrastructure and buildings, is expanding into the Adelaide market and is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join their growing team.

The Role:
As a Temporary Works Engineer, you will:
Lead the design and analysis of temporary structures, including formwork, falsework, scaffolding, and structural decommissioning. Ensure temporary works designs comply with safety regulations and industry standards, including AS 2601, AS 1657, AS 3610, AS 3600, AS 4100, and AS 5100. Work closely with construction teams to develop practical and efficient solutions that align with project schedules and requirements. Conduct engineering assessments of construction methods and sequences to optimize project delivery. Apply a strong understanding of construction materials, techniques, and methods to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions. Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and reports while ensuring adherence to industry best practices. Provide technical support on-site and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address design and implementation challenges. About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. At least 5 years of experience in temporary works design and construction engineering. Membership with Engineers Australia (or working towards it). Proficiency in using structural design tools such as Tekla Tedds, ClearCalcs, SkyCIV, and Beam 4. Familiarity with local formwork systems, including ACROW, PAFILI, PERI, DOKA, and LVL Timber. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design structures that withstand construction loads and temporary construction loads. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
