Our Client:A multinational engineering and electronics company, one of the world's largest suppliers of automotive components (including brakes, controls, electrical drives, electronics, fuel systems, generators, starter motors, and steering systems) is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join their ever-growing team based in Clayton.
Key Responsibilities: Assemble special purpose machinery according to drawings and sketchesEnsure participation in 5S programs as requiredAnalyse schematics and drawings of mechanical systems for efficient installation of new or upgraded systemsReview existing machinery and identify wear parts for machine improvementsRepair mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic machine faults and identify replacement components for improved future machinery outputSupport and expedite mechanical and electrical part procurement as requiredUse a range of mechanical and electrical tools to build special purpose machineryMeasure parts and machinery for quality checksWork alongside other trades to complete projects and work efficientlySkills & Experience: Toolmaking / precision engineering background advantageousCert III Engineering - Mechanical TradeMinimum 3 years' experience as a qualified FitterA genuine interest in electronics and assemblyWillingness to undergo a national police checkWorking at Toll:At Toll, we're proud to be a leading integrated logistics provider in the Asia Pacific region.
