The Electronic Trading Platform (ETP) team is responsible for the firm's low latency trading infrastructure. We are a dynamic and innovative global technology group dedicated to ensuring robust, secure, and high-performance trading environments. By leveraging the latest technology, we optimize trading performance for our clients, helping them manage risk while enhancing the trading infrastructure. Our team is at the forefront of designing and maintaining high-performance systems and infrastructure to support the fast-paced world of electronic trading.
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience as a backend developer. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of high-performance backend systems that support low latency trading operations. You will collaborate closely with other team members around the world to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
* Design, develop, and maintain backend services supporting low latency trading infrastructure.
* Develop and maintain infrastructure monitoring and automation services.
* Build trading analytics solutions leveraging real-time network packet capture.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Golang or Python.
* Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to best practices.
Basic Qualifications :
* 3+ years of experience as a backend developer.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language with a willingness to work in Python or Golang.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong written / verbal communication and collaboration skills; a team player.
* Interest in learning about low latency Linux systems, networking, and trading knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications :
* Experienced in Python or Golang development.
* Previous experience with InfluxDB, Telegraf, and Grafana.
* Exposure to low latency systems or trading platforms.
* Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
* Familiarity with advanced programming concepts such as concurrency and memory management.
* Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging systems.
* Strong understanding of network protocols and Linux systems.
* Experience in writing software to support, monitor, or automate Linux systems or network.
