We are currently seeking experienced Site Supervisor to join our fast-growing East Coast team and clients, on site in Eastern Creek, NSW. This position will be casual for an initial 4-month duration until March 2025. Hours worked will be 5 days per week, flexible working hours will be required including some weekends or public holidays as needed. The successful candidate will be primarily site based.The Site Project Construction Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of brownfields construction projects on industrial process industry sites. This role focuses on coordinating subcontractors, managing site operations, ensuring quality outcomes, guiding safety, and providing frontline leadership to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.Duties Include:Coordination of Subcontractors:Supervise and coordinate the activities of all subcontractors on-site to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.Conduct regular meetings with subcontractors to review progress, address issues, and communicate project expectations.Verify that subcontractors have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks effectively.Site Operations Management:Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.Monitor site operations to ensure they are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory requirements.Coordinate logistics, including the delivery and storage of materials and equipment, to minimize disruptions and delays.Quality Management:Maintain quality control procedures to ensure construction work meets the required standards and specifications.Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues or deficiencies.Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.Safety Guidance:Promote a strong safety culture on-site by enforcing compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulations.Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox talks to ensure all site personnel are aware of potential hazards and safety protocols.Respond to and investigate safety incidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Provide direct supervision and leadership to the on-site construction team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Mentor and support team members, encouraging professional development and continuous learning.Resolve conflicts and issues on-site promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal impact on project progress.Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including work progress, resource usage, and any issues encountered.Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project management, highlighting key achievements and potential risks.Ensure all site documentation is organized and accessible for review and compliance purposes.Experience & QualificationsEducation:Trade Qualification, Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.Experience:Minimum of 10 years experience in a supervisory role within the industrial process industry, particularly with brownfields construction projects.Certifications:Relevant construction and safety certifications / experienceSkills:Strong leadership and team management skills.Industrial Project Site Management exposure across projects Power Stations/Substations/Process Plants or exposure in heavy industry with operations and engineering in Power/Gas/Mining or Resources industries (Preferred)Tier 1 Client experience and client management skills (Preferred)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.In-depth knowledge of construction processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in using construction management software and tools.With our commitment to achieving a diverse workforce, we strongly encourage Female, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.For a confidential discussion please contact Alanna on ******#J-18808-Ljbffr
