Freight/Cargo Forwarding (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeOur valued client, an innovative freight and logistics provider, believes their continued success can be attributed to their dedicated and stable team of industry professionals, understanding their customers' freight management needs to offer personalised supply chain solutions and commitment to providing outstanding customer service and efficiency.You will be responsible for effective client management for your portfolio of mixed accounts, identifying opportunities for further growth within the portfolio, and enhancing the portfolio through the addition of new business.Your duties will include:Regular liaison with your portfolio to foster relationships, understand their needs, ensure service levels are met, client retention, and resolving any issues as they arise.Mine existing portfolio for additional opportunities.Work closely with the sales team to ensure that new business is being generated.Set up and maintain up-to-date SOPs and rates for new and existing clients.Review of product and service offerings.Order management and reporting.Client visits (3 per week).An opportunity to step up and manage the department is on offer for the right person who will also supervise and provide guidance to a small team and provide support to the Branch Manager in a 2IC capacity as required.You will be solutions-oriented and customer-centric, with the ability to problem solve. Professional presentation, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a can-do approach are essential. Minimum of 5 years’ recent experience within an international freight forwarding environment with strong operational knowledge, commercial mindset, and proficiency with Cargowise preferred.This position comes with a desirable commission scheme in place, to complement an already generous salary.Interested?
