The Business and Agribusiness division, led by the Chief Customer Officer, collaborates with Rural and Business lending capabilities to support customers' goals, and add value. The industry team is a key to helping the division achieve these opportunities. This team looks to connect the businesses strategy with the distribution channel through influencing policy and its implementation to create tangible oues.
We are seeking a leader with strong business acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to adapt to dynamicmercial conditions!
This senior leadership role will support the strategic focus for the Business and Agribusiness division and will continue to evolve the industry team. As a subject matter expert, you will identify industry and market trends, and partner with key stakeholders to influence industry policy. This role involves coordinating business strategy with distribution channels, influencing policy implementation, and achieving tangible oues through effectivemunication.
As a Senior Manager Industry, you will get too:
1. Partner with key stakeholders to ensure Rural and Business Industry needs are reflected in the shaping of industry policy.
2. Partner with key stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of industry policy initiatives across the division.
3. Identify areas for continuous improvement and refinement of industry policy and share industry feedback and partner with stakeholders to ensure policies are relevant in market.
4. Contribute business SME knowledge to technical solution design and alignment, delivery planning.
5. Lead a team of bankers with an understanding of policy, its impact upon the business and how to effectively measure impact through key data points.
6. Develop and deliver asset writing strategies and critical initiatives across the division.
We are seeking someone with the desired skills and experience for the role:

9. A proven track record in leading change and creating a culture of accountability and high performance.
10. Ability to lead in an agile and flexible environment.
11. Strong knowledge of banking/ financial services and banking industry, financial services products, services, channels,petitive dynamics, and customer behaviour trends
12. Effective verbal and writtenmunications skills
13. Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, online workshop/facilitation tools Mural and Teams.
This is a full-time position, based in Melbourne. Hybrid ways of working are core to how we operate today with a minimum 3 days working from an office. Flexible work options are also available. This role will require regular travel to stakeholders, customers and business centres across the regions.
