The Opportunity
A full-time 12-month contract has become available to join our Corporate Risk team as an Analyst. You will play a pivotal role in assisting Senior Managers to deliver risk-related services, including executing operational risk management processes, and actively monitoring, resolving, and reporting operational risk issues.
This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of tasks and work closely with our internal middle and back-office teams, along with partnering with the wider RMG group.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Contributing to the production of quality risk-based reports for QIC’s Boards and Committees and executive forums.
2. Assist with drafting of QIC’s Enterprise and Operational Risk Policies and Standards
3. Coordinating the production of QIC’s GS007 internal controls report to clients.
4. Contribute to the maintenance and application of business continuity and other resilience activities.
5. Assist in management of the Corporate Insurance Program as required.
6. Contribute to the successful implementation of QIC’s Internal Audit program through coordination with the outsourced provider.
7. Maintenance of QIC’s RMG internet site.
8. Champion a strong culture of risk and compliance within QIC.
About You
With past experience in a risk related role, you will have proven understanding of core risk management concepts.
You will also possess the following skillset, high attention to detail, strong report writing capabilities, ability to consult and develop internal relationships and an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Experience using Power BI, Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools would be advantageous, but not mandatory.
