The role The role is responsible for Providing senior leadership and direction to the Asset Management Unit to support the enabling and provision of asset management services within Queensland Health to ensure that asset owners and responsible officers are able to manage and address their utilisation, regulatory, risk management and safety obligations on their building asset portfolios and supporting infrastructure. The successful person You will have demonstrated: Demonstrated ability to plan, manage, implement and review policy development, large scale asset management programs, improvement initiatives and project management, including the ability to scope projects, engage and direct consultants/contractors within time and budget constraints and the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders and other industry partners. Demonstrated high level ability to identify, examine and critically interpret complex information and provide strategic solutions relating to strategic infrastructure asset management, asset information management, real property services and ecologically sustainable development and climate change. Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills at a senior executive level Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and management of a multi-disciplinary team, including demonstrated effectiveness in supervisory and management practices that are in line with quality human resource management practices.
